Amazing holiday onboard Emerald Princess

So I am back!!!! Had the most amazing holiday onboard Emerald Princess. Our itinerary was Athens - Santorini - Montenegro - Sicily - Naples - Barcelona and I have to say I think it's been my favourite itinerary so far.

Although it was very hot...the ports were really great and very interesting. We only pre-booked one trip which was Pompeii for Naples and we really enjoyed our guide and learning all about the history! We did our own thing at the other ports and it was very easy.... Santorini and Montenegro were stunning

It was my first time sailing with Princess and I have to say, they did not disappoint. The standard of food and service was really great, never felt crowded and the only occasional queues I saw were for the free pizza, burgers, ice creams etc up by the pools. My son loved the Movies Under The Stars, where they showed top movies at night on the giant screen by the pool and gave out free popcorn. We got to see Avengers End Game (again!!!) and Bohemian Rhapsody. The shows and entertainment were also great which included "The Voice" of the Ocean and they even had an Irish comedian on one of the nights who again my son loved.

Total mix of nationalities, a lot of Americans, Canadians and even Australians so a really nice atmosphere onboard. And ah lads, the FOOD!!! I ate all around me. We tried the speciality restaurant one of the nights and the steaks, lobster and desserts were unreal We had a Balcony Cabin with a pullman bed for my son and there was plenty of room and loads of storage and hanging space. The TV in the cabin had loads of on demand TV shows and movies too which was handy for the lazy night where you just couldn't be bothered to get dressed up!!

We did 2 nights in Athens before the cruise and 1 night in Barcelona after, which meant we could fly back to Cork which was great.
